Impact Stories
Real People. Real Progress. Real Change.
At The Harrilal Foundation, every grant, partnership, and initiative tells a story, a story of hope, healing, and human connection.
Our impact is not measured only in numbers, but in the lives uplifted and the communities strengthened through compassion, collaboration, and care.
We’re proud to spotlight the remarkable individuals and organizations who turn our mission into measurable, meaningful outcomes every day.
Stories of Change
Building Safe Spaces for LGBTQ+ Youth
When the Pride Wellness Collective received a foundation grant, their small weekly support group expanded into a full-scale wellness program serving three counties.
Over 200 LGBTQ+ youth now attend therapy sessions, mentorship circles, and wellness workshops in affirming, judgment-free spaces.
“The Foundation’s belief in our vision gave us the resources and confidence to reach more youth than ever before.”
— Director, Pride Wellness Collective
Supporting Veterans Beyond the Uniform
Through partnership funding, Veterans Pathways Alliance launched its Reintegration & Resilience Initiative, connecting veterans with job mentors and trauma-informed counselors.
The result? Over 150 veterans successfully transitioned into stable employment, with 80% continuing mental health follow-ups.
“They reminded our heroes that they’re not alone that their next mission is to live well.”
— Veteran Services Coordinator, VPA
Caring for Those Who Once Cared for Us
With Foundation support, the Golden Years Network delivered dementia care training to over 300 caregivers statewide.
These programs improved caregiver confidence and reduced burnout, ensuring seniors receive quality care at home.
“This grant was a lifeline for our caregivers, our seniors, and the families who depend on them.”
— Program Manager, Golden Years Network
Empowering Adolescents to Thrive
The Bright Futures Youth Initiative used Foundation funding to create a mentoring program for teens facing mental health challenges.
Workshops on self-esteem, communication, and emotional regulation reached 500 adolescents, with measurable improvements in academic engagement and well-being.
“We see the change in their confidence they’re learning to lead, not just survive.”
— Lead Mentor, Bright Futures
